As promised, here is the 2nd installment of the short series I’m doing on wedding planning advice from real brides. Today’s responses are more brief than the last installment, but the advice is totally on point. Especially Brooke’s advice about who should be in charge when it comes to registering for gifts (: The final installment deals with preferences in terms of wedding photography. Stay tuned!
What was the best decision you made in terms of planning your wedding?
1. “Well I think I chose a pretty great groom, that was probably the best decision
” – Kathryn
2. “I’ve been sitting here watching my cursor blink for minutes trying to think of an answer. I always thought all the little details and wedding stuff mattered, don’t get me wrong it made for a beautiful wedding, but when it really comes down to the best decision I made about the wedding is definitely getting married in the right place, to my sweetheart, Cameron. Engagement was stressful between me and Cameron, you need to look at the big picture and realize that engagement will be over soon, it’s not worth the little arguments about things like what to register for! (guys: just give her the registry gun and no one will get hurt
). I do have to say though, I loved my dress…get something you will be happy with! You will be looking at those pictures forever!” – Brooke

3. “The best decision that I made when planning our wedding would be planning on the groom to be there ha ha. Honestly the best decision was choosing the right photographer, because for me that’s what I truly cared the most about I know that most girls think the flowers are crucial but to me it’s cherishing those memories that will last forever. For every frazzled bride out there, finding Ashley as a photographer will put you at ease.” – Chrissy
