CHICKEN CHARMS & DORITOS

It all started with chicken charms and doritos.  We were 11 years old and I just moved to a new school.  Her school.  And it didn’t take long for us to become friends.  One day we happen to sit at the same table during lunch period.  I had chicken charms, she had doritos.  She wanted chicken charms, I wanted doritos.  So we traded and spent every lunch period together for the rest of the year.  We attended different middle schools but still kept in touch.  And when it came time for high school, she and I were reunited once again.  And we even shared a locker.  All 4 years.

After all these years she and I have still kept in touch.  Through good times and bad.  She was there for my first breakup and for my wedding.  And now she’s not only my long time friend, she’s my hairstylist as well.  And let me tell you, no one does color like her!  Believe me, I know.

Rachel is now pregnant with her first child and I am over the moon excited for her.  She came over to visit recently and we decided to do a quick “pre-maternity” session before her actual maternity session which will take place in the next couple of months.  And just like my color, Rachel makes pregnancy look good.
