I consider my business to be a boutique kind of business. I take on a select number of clients and being the perfectionist that I am, I put all my energy into building relationships with those clients. Last fall, I photographed a wedding for a bride I didn’t have the opportunity to meet before her wedding day. This was a first for me as I typically get to meet my brides beforehand, but by the end of the day, I felt like I was part of the family. So when I got an email from that bride’s sister earlier this year to tell me she was engaged, I was over the moon excited. Because the Waite family feels like my own. And every time you’re with them, they welcome you in and make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Lyndsey and Koby, thank you for choosing me to be the one to document your beautiful wedding! There was so much love in the air that day and it’s a testament to the kind of people you are. I’ve not only fallen in love with the two of you, but with your families as well. Thank you so much for trusting my vision and making me feel like family. I can’t wait to see you both at the next wedding…hopefully sooner than later (:
Susan, a friend of Lyndsey’s family, created all the bouquets. She always does such beautiful work with floral design!
Lyndsey and Koby were married in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. Temple exits are always my favorite and Lyndsey and Koby’s was no exception.
A big thank you to Stephanie Waite for doing Lyndsey’s hair and makeup. She looked absolutely gorgeous!
I’m sort of in love with bows and they were in rich supply at my own wedding. Lyndsey, what can I say, you have impeccable taste (:

When Koby carried Lyndsey’s dress as we moved to the next location, he told me he felt like Pippa. I was so impressed when he told me that. And I made a big fuss about it. Koby, I’m still so impressed with your knowledge of wedding pop culture.
My love affair with cathedral length veils continues. And when it’s slightly windy, that’s just the icing on the cake.

Laughter is always in rich supply with Lyndsey and Koby. It’s one of my favorite things about them.
J’s view on the left, my view on the right.

Here is another one of j’s images. I only wish I’d thought of this first!
Lyndsey’s mom let me take a couple of these adorable stands home at the end of the evening. Gail, you’re my favorite (:

This was Lyndsey and Koby’s first dance. Ever. So sweet!
Last but certainly not least, the father daughter dance.

Many thanks to Faded Paper Figures for giving me special permission to use one of their songs (a personal favorite of mine) for the slideshow. Be sure to stay tuned for Lyndsey and Koby’s day after session. I’ll be posting it as soon as I figure out how to narrow down all my favorites. Wish me luck!

Dear Ashley Perez …. Waite, (now you’re family)

Ashley, it never ceases to amaze me how much talent you have. You did such a beautiful job photographing all the special moments of Lyndsey and Koby’s wedding day. Everything about your shots are perfect. Love it!
I thought you did an awesome job as photographer! I made the chocolates that you have pictured in the basket. Is there any chance I could get a copy of it and use it on my website? I will credit you with the photo and even link your website, if you’d like. Let me know.
Love your creativity with the portraits! Great job! And isn’t it great to have your husband shooting along side of you? I love it when the bride tells me how much she loved a shot and tim took it, haha. Keep up the awesome work, Ashley and Jeff. You guys rock.
